Logistics

All couples in the study will complete questionnaires. You will complete the first two sets of questionnaires at Soldier Plaza/The Chaplain Family Life Training Center (Building 2606 Dixie Road , Ft. Benning GA   31905 ). There is parking available in front of the building, and there is also a larger parking lot just to the left of the building. Unfortunately, we do not provide duty release time or childcare for the completion of the questionnaires. Subsequent questionnaires can be completed online from anywhere in the world.

Half of all couples in the study will be randomly assigned to attend a couples' workshop led by trained Army chaplains.

The couples' workshop has two components:

1. a weekday on post, and

2. a weekend retreat.

The random assignment into Strong Bonds will take place after you complete your first questionnaire. If you are assigned to Strong Bonds, information on the location of the weekday workshop and the weekend retreat will be provided. If you have children, please talk to the AMP coordinator (706-505-7770) about the childcare options provided for the weekday workshop and weekend retreat.
